I am so grateful for this food bank. I find myself in a different situation since I have moved from New York City to Rockingham North Carolina. The Director of this food bank name at this time.Himself and everybody at the food bank at 1 January load it up lots of food for me and my doggy. Because I’m in a transition. And I am very sick. I am originally from Anson County. But have lived away from home for the past 30 some years in Atlanta Miami in New York City. I was born in Rockingham North Carolina right up the road from my house I live on County home Road. I was forced to come home and apply for my disability due to an illness that I have or actually two.. These are very trying times. The food that I get from them and the food that I get from my assistance helps me a lot but I am not able to get shaving cream and razor blades and stuff like that. So I will have to find a food bank that has shampoo soap and conditioner and razor blades. During this trial period that I’m having to apply for disability so your thoughts and prayers are welcome and I am so grateful for a place like this I would like to also take the first Baptist Church of Rockingham North Carolina Randolph Street. The pastor of that church and the gentleman that is the secretary there they went to the food bank got the food to me and brought it home you cannot ask for any better people than the people that I have run into with our daily bread and the first Baptist Church on Randolph Street in Rockingham North Carolina I am forever grateful and I’m sure I’ll be back in February thank you so much for your kindness and love in a time like this it is so comforting to have food and have the knowledge that there are still so many wonderful people in the world.
