Hotel lobby was so nice and clean and we were greeted with champagne! Our room was clean and comfy. The staff was helpful and kind from the front desk to the valet to the servers for breakfast. No complaints and would love to stay here again anytime I’m in the area! Beautiful hotel.

I went to Dallas for a quick stay, and the Highland was the perfect spot to relax. We ate the best dinner at Knife Steakhouse, located inside the hotel. I also had a massage at the Spa right before check out that was perfect, and the sauna was super clean. It was too cold to get into the pool, but I did walk by it, and it was super clean. The hotel and valet staff were lovely. I would stay here again because I had such a great experience, and it’s a plus they allow dogs. 10/10

Positive: The jetted tub was wonderful! The room was laid out very nice. We enjoyed the outdoor area as well. The breakfast in the cafe was great! Negative: We were only disappointed in two things. One was the bed. The mattress was very uncomfortable. We sank in the middle and our backs were sore the next morning. Second, we were disappointed in the lack of room service for breakfast.

This was the first weekend away for my husband and I in three years. I specifically picked a high end hotel with a large tub in the room. We were extremely disappointed. I purchased a higher end room to make the weekend special. It had multiple holes in the ceiling. There was broken tile on the floor. The wallpaper was peeling. There were stains on the furniture and carpet. The shower and bathtub had mold and mildew. There was trash and hair on the bathroom floor when we arrived. When we asked for another room, the next room we were given had all the same issues. We were offered no solutions. Staff was kind but not very helpful. Would not recommend. Not worth the money. You might as well go to motel 6.

In Texas the minimum age to check into a hotel is age 21 with a valid credit card to cover room and tax, as well as incidentals...
