Stopping glass recycling is absolutely insane. People are using more glass nowadays because we know that it is the safest material compared to plastics. Glass is NOT BIODEGRADABLE - it would take a million years if not longer for one single bottle to be decomposed. Do you even realize what's gonna happen to our county within a few years? All those glass containers and bottles are gonna end up in the environment until we're up to our ears of glass.

They have a big sign and cameras to prohibit people from dropping off household waste like this. However you can take it to Blackberry Resident ial Waste center and they will take it.
Paint is not accepted at this location, however, useable “latex” paint can be recycled at the following locations: Blackberry Valley, Echo Valley, Enoree, O’Neal and Piedmont Residential Waste and Recycling Centers. Oil-based and other paints should be dried out (kitty litter or shredded paper), placed in a plastic bag and disposed of in your garbage.
