Been coming here for 30 yrs. Best place to come fishing on Santee Cooper. Qwners are special people, treat guests like kings.

PuncHKICKslapBAMGBANGboom..... Hope that helps 🙏
We fished off the docks and the grassy areas nobody said anything just dont feed the alligators..lol not alot of room to fish though unless your on a boat. Caught alot of big bass right by the canal inlet. Drop shot worm and garlic dip.
Yes
No but there are local fishing guides you can charter to fish and some even do sight seeing tours
If you don't know what a fish is then our public schools have failed miserably
The grass pads to the right of the camp in the cove.
In the water, in the lake. I mean listen. If you're a real fisherman then you know fish swim around. They move. How the heck are any of us going to be able to tell you where the perch are today at a certain time? Go find them. They're out there in one of those two lakes or the canal .... you know, in the water with the other fish. Good Luck. You're gonna need it. You may just wanna buy a couple of dozen from Black's bait shop.
I have a question, would they allow camping, and where?
It's great!
We stayed at Johnston's during the last hurricane that came through am made out just fine. I think it was a tropical storm by then. Our camper shook alot and our canopy got torn down and there was some limbs down, but other than that it was ok. And being in the camper was good because we still had power and hot water. I really think people are going crazy over nothing. It will probably just be a tropical storm by the time it gets here. The main thing to worry about here is flooding I believe.
Rates vary by wether you want to be on the water or not. As low as $550/month up to $650/month.
Should be pretty good around the banks but better fishing for bass if you have a boat
👌
Yes .... back in the cove, along the banks, and off the docks if no boats are coming in and out. You want to make sure you're using a no-snag weedless rig back in that cove.
No. This is a fish camp! Everything is is to complement and service people fishing.
May i suggest to call them. They're very accommodating, helpful folks.
Yes they have year round sites and don't know of it ever flooding
