Had a reservation with them this summer that we made two months in advance. When we pulled up they tried to say that we'd have to wait a day because of "some changes we made". I let them know that I'm a lawyer by trade and would be invoicing them for the hardship they placed on us and, lo and behold, they 'found' our reservation Then while waiting for the ferry to be loaded we heard the ferry driver - little, short, old white guy with gray hair and faded garbage tattoos- making crude comments about a passenger in another vehicle that appeared to be a 12 or 13 year old girl. Gross.

Excellent service, Captains and mates very friendly. Staff are very helpful and accommodating. Ferry’s are clean and well maintained. We like supporting our local businesses.

No, you definitely need 4 wheel drive. You can rent Kabuto side x side UTVs from the ferry store to explore and fish on the island.
