A tranquil spot on the water, with a floating dock right there on the Ashley River in West Ashley, across from downtown; looking out over the marsh and back towards Charlestowne Landing with its ship The Adventurer. People like to fish there. I ride my bike to the end of the Bikeway, there at the river.

No cost. I read your review, and there is indeed a Higgins Pier at the end of a walk down a paved wide path. You go through Maryville neighborhood and park in the small gravel lot at the West Ashley Bikeway.
