Super great for seeing the products physically in the space. Ikea contains two levels (access by elevator or by stairs) ground floor has all the products laid out as if you were in your average store and the second level has everything on display like you are walking through a ginormous doll house. This helps with color schemes and layout (as they do have the square footage of each room displayed!) You can choose either way and they have short cuts for those who would like to skip a certain department! They also have a range of product prices and therefore quality!

This place is a maze. Once you get in there it’s hard to find your way out. There is no “running in real quick” trips. Check out is a process, especially if you are buying furniture. One register to order, another register to pay, then a third to request pickup. I recommend going with at least three hours. Make a day of it and have lunch in the cafe upstairs.

Been trying for days too. Tried 4 times last night from midnight to 343 in the morning.....this shouldn't be so difficult if they only allow pickup.

I tried logging in at midnight and the process went smoothly for me i chose what I wanted and checked the availability and it sent me the payment screen easy.
IKEA will typically recommend using Task Rabbit to have items assembled.
The other answer is correct for finding out if something is in stock. Ikea.us should be able to help there. This won't tell you whether the showroom remodel is complete though. I don't see anything online about the status either. Maybe try their Facebook page if they have one. You can also try the suggestion on this page under how to contact the store directly. The return desk is located near the registers. You should not have to disassemble the lamp. If they do request that, they're probably fans of Biden.
