I have been living here for 2 and half years and wouldn’t have left if it wasn’t for my own house. Perfect location, perfect apartment size, great quality appliances (still working after 2.5 years), awesome events giving you real sense of community, everyone in the leasing office makes an effort to remember you and does a very good job with that. They are so very helpful and it makes you want to stay in such happy place. It is only 5 min walk to work, legit next to light rail. Oh and rent, on the good side. Everything Perfect!

No place is perfect, that's for sure. But - what I can say is that the team here is really great at taking care of you. Haley the leasing agent is phenomenal. She's great at remembering who you are and making you feel like family. She remembers our kids and treats us like humans, not like numbers. The Assistant Manger Patrick, is quick to respond when you have issues and works to mediate being pragmatic, logical, and putting himself in your shoes. And finally, the new property manager, Morgan is phenomenal. It's clear that there are some issues that are outside of her control but she's very willing to reason with you and work to resolve challenges that you might face. The team here cares about their jobs and work hard to make it a great place to live. Maintenance can be improved a bit, but if you have any issues follow up with the front desk team and they will always work to help you.

Rented here against the advice of a friend who had moved out. It’s a good location with bad* landlords. I moved out after 10 months and would also recommend looking elsewhere unless you’ve got low expectations (I.e. if the events below wouldn’t have bothered you) Several Pros: *self-serve maintenance requests with quick efficient responses (Charlie is a superhero!), friendly event coordinators, location hard to beat if you’re not on a street facing unit Several cons: - building construction skimpy on noise proofing; You’ll hear cars and motorcycles and your neighbors’ intimate moments -“screw you” financial practices: at lease renewal time, they offered to continue my lease at +$250 more/ month if I signed another year (or $1000 / month to keep my home month to month, lmao) . The leasing office said the “increase was quite significant due to the current rates of your floor plan being much higher due to the increase in market rents around Charlotte.” Now, they did offer to come down a bit when I protested, but I’d had enough already. I moved out 4 months ago and the unit is STILL unoccupied. They were more eager to lose 4 mos of never-late rent in pursuit of “the market increase in Charlotte” than let me stay in my home at the rate we had set together. Then they tried to withhold from my deposit to replace an old piece of blinds that just fell off by itself - know your rights folks. -parking: they make it clear you can’t park in the garage without a pass. Even with the right to be there I forgot to put it up one night to come back to my car missing. Yes, they contract with a tow company who swings by multiple times a week to steal cars from guests and forgetful owners. Can’t say I wasn’t warned I guess.. - office promised at lease signing to replace a heavily damaged refrigerator door before move in. Come move in the manager balks and says “we’d never promise that there are people waiting to get fridge replacements let alone a door” they finally caved when I didn’t let up, maybe they grabbed a door off one of the many fridges that apparently don’t work…? - marquis rooftop amenity was closed for several months even as NC regulations permitted it to be opened. Management’s reason (once they finally responded) was first that they didn’t want people to make a mess and second that a “fridge needed to be repaired”. For a building who’s website and phone greeting aggressively markets this amenity, it was super frustrating they closed it off for more than 5 months without a respectable reason.. Hope there’s an adult at Greystar confirming the games they play here are the best business practices…and hey idk maybe they are, but I’m not playing
