The apartments are nice for the price point and the company is renovating the building. There is an issue with where packages are not left at the app Apartment door but they are usually left near the leasing office. Also, the leasing staff are extremely nice and helpful. UPS and FEDEX will loose your packages or have you pick them up at a store

Save your money and find somewhere else. A huge hike in price because of “remodeling” when all they did was a bad paint job. Some days you can find animal droppings on the floors of the hallways and elevators. It’s not safe either as there were a wave of car break ins in the garage. My friend’s car was broken into and MAA didn’t do much extra so this problem would stop. When I first moved in the bathroom was filthy. I really don’t believe they even looked at the place before move in day. Our A/C unit also stopped working in the middle of the summer a couple of times. Although their maintenance came in and fixed it each time, it’s very annoying that it happened multiple times. They will also try to use you for extra cash as well. For a few carpet stains, they charged my roommate and I for a completely new carpet. There’s only 3 stains all in the living room but we are expected to pay for the entire apartment’s replacement. If the stains are unable to be cleaned, it’s easier to cut the carpet out and replace it with clean carpeting. This is what most landlords do but not for MAA. instead they want us to pay for the entire unit. I feel like they are going to remodel the unit anyway as they took measurements and some apartments are getting wood flooring. I truly feel like the management is taking advantage of us. The only good thing is how quick maintenance comes in. But I wouldn’t need maintenance so often if things didn’t need fixing so often.

MANAGEMENT TAKING ADVANTAGE. HORRIBLE PLACE!!! Right after moving out they sent a picture of the carpet and charged us 165 dollars to clean it, after 10 days, they came back charging us 965 dollars to replace the whole carpet, making us pay for the renovations that they were going to do anyway. This management only wants to charge you for everything. On top of that, the elevators never work, this place is not safe, my car got broken into, and the AC is always broken. The common places are always dirty and full of garbage. Please do not move into this apartment.

I scheduled a tour to view the apartments and had a wonderful guide to show me the way. Stasha was very informative and made the whole process enjoyable. She knew a great deal about the property and I easily got a feel on how it would be like to live there. The pictures I took are of the smallest size studio apartment model 530sq ft. The size is actually quite spacious and has great features like big windows, excellent views and lighting and best of all smart home technology like a smart lock and some USB connections in the kitchen. A washer and dryer is a must for me and the units fit everything you might need. The elevator and hallways were clean and well lit. There aren't as many amenities here however it's still a beautiful property and for the price it's fantastic. Nearby are a lot of fun areas and parks to visit. I would like to see more pet friendly features in the future and I heard mention of a potential pet spa and more community events. I currently have an apartment with community events and it's a great way to meet new friends. The whole complex is getting a new look and upgrades so I expect it to only get better. I would recommend setting an appointment online before visiting. The property is very secure with gated garages, lots of parking, key fob security and your own homes smart lock that has its own code per user. I enjoyed my tour and left feeling confident in the decision to keep this place at the top of my list in my apartment search. The agents in the office were very helpful and tried their best to give a good price and any advice. I would absolutely recommend this location to anyone apartment hunting in uptown Charlotte.
