Having recently moved into the area , we had The Stone Man take out the old deck and build a new patio, fire pit and built in outdoor kitchen. They were fantastic!! Everything from the design to the finished product, they were on top of the project every step of the way. Even after everything was paid, Chris came back out to make some touchups, things I hadn't even noticed. They came recommended from a friend of ours in Charlotte and as I write this, I hope this recommendation helps others make that decision. You won't be disappointed!!

The Stone Man just completed my backyard patio project, and I couldn't be more pleased with the results. Not only did they deliver on high quality patio design and construction, they also helped alleviate some drainage issues I was having in the area. This was a challenging project with all of the various aspects involved, but the Stone Man team handled it all without issue. Starting with the design process, they were very thorough in their approach, creating detailed renderings of the concept and an associated cost estimate for our review. Chris D. was very patient with all of our questions and revisions, going back and forth with us multiple times while always willing to make the requested adjustments or politely offer a better solution. Once construction started, they stayed in consistent communication about upcoming tasks, and were very respectful and responsive to all of my concerns about property access, material storage locations, and areas not to disturb. Even though it may have decreased the desired efficiency for their crew, they always accommodated my requests. Their project manager, Chris G., was fantastic and made sure everything was done right, even personally coming out on multiple occasions to correct an issue or even improve something that didn't quite meet his standards. They kept the site as clean and tidy as they possibly could, and left the site in great condition following completion of the project. This company does outstanding work, and they stand by it. They have made it clear that I can call in the future with any issue, question or potential modification and they will be more than happy to help. There are a lot of hardscape contractors out there, but from my experience, you will not be disappointed if you go with the Stone Man.

I used the The Stoneman earlier this spring. I am very happy with their work and would definitely recommend them. They are on time, clean, and very professional and will get the job done right. I needed a large retaining wall that was about 6’ high to level my yard. It needed to be engineered and I needed someone to do it with General Contractor License to meet code in Fort Mill… The Stoneman met the requirements and has a lot of experience doing this work. If you have a big project and want to get it done right, these are the guys to use. I used Stoneman about 5 years ago for another big project to build large pergola and custom stone outdoor kitchen—it still looks awesome to this day and no problems. The team at Stoneman always does a great job and follows through.
