Starting point for a chill tub ride down the river toward the pump house. Plenty of parking and a concrete approach into the water makes it very comfortable to get everything ready to go.

Beginning Oct26, Fort Mill Dam access area will experience temporary closures related to construction activities expanding the site parking. Expected to be completed 1 Jan 2021. Weather could affect the reopening date.
If you swim, wear crocs or some sort of shoes with a good sole. There can be broken glass or fishing hooks etc near the dam access since people like to fish around there. It will probably be considerably congested too with people tubing/kayaking.

I've been tubing all week with friends down there and it's been so fun not really any restrictions except make sure to have a float/tube while in water
I seriously doubt it. But it is Tega Cays territory so there really isn't no telling.
No supposed to be closed at night. It has a gate but they don't never close it but you're not supposed to be there at night
A lifejacket and whistle are required by law.
