Been getting home delivery from Lakeview Farms for nearly 2 years now. We LOVE their service. We mainly get their 2% milk and half-and-half but get other items too - heavy cream, OJ, lemonade, eggs, and bacon. The milk is top quality! I love not having to run out to the grocery store for milk - and I swear I spend less money because then I'm not buying things I don't need. :-) The delivery process is easy. Once a week (day varies by location!), leave out a small cooler on your porch or front step with your empty bottles in it and your order form the night before delivery; the next morning your milk will be waiting for you! (I believe they'll even put it in your garage fridge if you have one.) We usually don't need any ice packs during the winter months, but we add in a few as the weather warms up. Give them 24 hours notice by phone or email if you don't require anything, otherwise they charge you the $7 delivery fee. And if you forget to place out your order form, you get the same items they left you the week before. We've done it a few times!! Usually worked out just fine. We also love the little coloring competitions they leave for our little girl. Support local and get great-tasting farm-fresh milk delivered right to your door. You won't regret it!!
