1st time we ate there last summer, we thought it was excellent but a fluke. We went back this past week and we Know it isn't a Fluke:) Ms. Shannon was a delight to speak with, she shared the history of the place and even jumped in on a prayer we were having at our table. The Catfish was soooooo good with just the right amount of coating and seasoning, the dry rub ribs were delicious and tender. The greens were cooked to perfection and not to salty. You'll love the coziness of the decor. Make sure you get a taste of their Homemade fried peach or apple pies! I didn't get the pecan pie this time but Lord Willing it's on my to do list for next time!

This is a super popular place right off I-40. It’s nearly always busy. Thats of course always a good sign! The fried green tomatoes were delicious. The pork bbq was a touch fatty for my liking but had a good flavor. The catfish while not the best I’ve had was tasty and plentiful. The grilled shrimp was also pretty good! All in all, I don’t have too much to complain about, if I had to pick, I’d say the service was fine but not particularly great. Especially, as some of the prices were well into 20$ up a plate. All in all though if I was on 40 out that way I’d say stop by and give it a shot. You probably won’t be disappointed.

About as friendly of a waitress as you can ask for. Food was good. Pull pork was delicious. Ribs however were a little dry and overcooked. I did like the flavor. Waitress recommend Mac and cheese and fries. Good choice on both. Would come back to try the brisket. This time it was sold out. Reasonable price

If you like barbecue Nicks barbecue is a place to go. Good atmosphere and a wonderful menu of Delectables fried pie, BBQ ribs, pulled pork and much more. Our waitress was very personable and attentive to what we were wanting and seemed to know what we needed before we asked. To me this is an exceptional restaurant that you should check out. And for you big rig drivers out there there is truck parking.

I'm from Texas working in Memphis. I thought Nick was great. I left there satisfied. I stopped by one time on a drive home.
No but it's best to call and let them know how many will be in your party just incase you have a wait

The Food is Excellent and SERVICE great....You will die for those Fried green Tomatoes ....😉
Be best to call them..
I got my order through the Drive-thru
The combo plate is delicious because you can get two meats and two sides. The green tomatoes are awesome! We don't think we have had anything at Rick's that we did not like. Everything is delicious.
McDonald's hamburger pork barbecue ribs want to be beef brisket french fries are good onion rings are good okra is good white potatoes are small grilled chicken salad is good if you can get some grilled chicken on it I've been there ten times the first time was a charm I had three ribs they are okay.. goodnight beans suck.. if you order the chicken breast it's thin as paper.. and it's $11 what's on the menu looks is very expensive and it's not worth the trip tell you the truth.. if you want good barbecue you better stop in Texas. Or North Carolina.. I don't mind paying for my food if it's good and you can eat it and enjoy it.. just like Forrest Gump says you never know what you're going to get... L ol. So try it you might like it. Oh damn fried apple pies for $4 a piece
