Just had a great lunch at Blind Box BBQ. The burnt ends are some of the best I’ve had. the onion straws were overwhelming and the homemade chips were crispy and delicious. They are one of the best barbecue restaurants in Kansas City. The barbecue nachos are unique and very flavorful.

Have you driven by Blind Box BBQ while on your way by Shawnee Mission Parkway? Well if so, please let this review serve as your call to repentance and eat here! You will not regret it! Attached, is a picture of some of their amazing BBQ sauces. I'll spare you the picture of my messy plate. You might have mistaken it for something an animal had eaten, but that's just because of how good it was! Shout out to our server Lydia for amazing service! She was very helpful. Also, Blind Boxe's iteration of potato salad was amazing! Just the right hint of dill, not eggy and overall a hit!

The food is delicious, good sized portions! The corn bake was amazing and so are the wings. Our waitress Evie was very attentive!

We tried Blind Box BBQ for lunch today, and it was great! We had 2 of their signature sandwiches: burnt ends and the Carolina Q, which is pulled pork topped with slaw and onion straws. That was definitely our favorite of the 2. It had a great flavor, even without adding extra sauce. The French fries were not too skinny and not too fat. They were crispy on the outside, with a good amount of seasoning, but still tender and "potatoey" on the inside. We also tried the smoked potato salad as our other side, and it was VERY tasty as well. Everything tasted very fresh. In addition, we had SUPERB service. Our server was attentive and friendly, and our order came out very quickly. Our server continued to check on us after we got our food. The owner also dropped by our table to check on our food and overall experience. There is a really nice big patio with a southern exposure where we sat. This place is easy to miss, tucked into a strip mall on the north side of Shawnee Mission Parkway, but it's well worth seeking out!

Increased sanitationa across the resturnate, including surfaces and commonly touched to help reduce the spread of germs. Keeping Employee's and Customers safe by recognizing symptoms early. Taking inititiative to send symtompatic employees home. Providing additional training and awareness to all employees on the safe handling of food to include, use of gloves and food-safe sanitizers. Making sure restrooms are fully stocked with soap and providing additional hand sanitizer stations to ensure confidence with those that are dinning with us. Ensureing that employees wear masks at all times while on duty or inside the resturnate. Asking that all customers wear a mask until they have been seated.
Blind box bbq. “A box in which BBQ competition teams prepare their entries for presentation and turn-in.” It is blind to judges because a number instead of a team name is on the box.
