Worse place to live with you and kids. Move in on the 12th of April day one nothing went right. Apartment wasn't ready still never been finished. Third day here my window by the worker get broken which stay that way 2 weeks. Roaches everywhere can't shower without them nor use the bathroom. Wake up hitting your face because a roach is on it. Carpet never looked clean nowhere near very nasty dirty. Kitchen never painted wood old cracking sink very old and rusty. None of the doors on the cabinets close they just stay open all day.. black stuff around vent . My daughter keep waking up with her face swollen from day one I believe there mold here. I work at home I have notice twice now even after sharing with the manager someone came inside my unit after I left but been there all day. No one said anything about coming in no notes nor email or call. Come home from getting kids I have notice asking about rent inside my unit but not one time since I been here anyone came to fix or finished anything in this unit. Why wait until I leave to enter my apartment when I been here all day. When no one even told me someone was coming in. Nothing but messing that I have experienced from day one yet to even been a month . These are the worse apartment please save yourself the troubles . No respect nor caring these ppl hold here. If you want to feel at home where you pay rent don't move here. I keep trying to find the corporate office number.

I recently applied here & the approval proccess was faster than I expected. I did have a hard time getting consistent updates on my application but whenever I called the office someone always answered & directed my call. I worked with Ms. Karla Dixon. She was really nice & understanding. I gave three stars because the customer service was really good, however the 2bed 1 bath does not have washer/dryer connections & there are no light fixtures in any of the apts except for in the kitchen, bathroom, & dining room & I didn't like that at all. They require renters insurance so I was going to end up paying $1249/mo for no lights, no w/d, & the area isn't the best. BUT if none of those things are a MUST to you then I strongly suggest applying here & working with Karla.

I just moved in this week and already I'm so thrilled that I chose 6500 South as my home! Emily has been just unbelievably kind and helpful, and the front office was a delight to work with during the moving process! My first impressions have been outstanding so far!

I toured 6500 South apartments and was assisted by Ms. Karla Dixon and the experience with her was polite, knowledgeable, and she was very willing to help. She walked me through all my questions and concerns. The model was nice as well

If your complex doesn't do second chance, then why is it coming up in the second chance category?

You aren't a very good property manager if you can't get your property OFF of the second chance list.
