The worst Dr. and nurse group I’ve had to deal with after 56 surgeries. I tried for a week to get a refill for Flomax . They made a appointment in Lebanon with some Dr., not my regular Dr. a month after my prescription will be out. After I explained I’ll be out of medication they said a nurse would contact me. No contact from anyone. I’ll be out of medicine in a week . I repeatedly told them I would be out. They are the most unprofessional , disingenuous group, of uncaring people like most of Vanderbilt. I’m done with the Vanderbilts attitude after 60 years . The only function of patient services is to determine if your going to sue them. No action will be taken to improve employees or processes.

My wife was referred to this place and first thing sent to er to get a tube put in back. Was told probably gonna loose kidney. Then 4 weeks later says all was good took out tube. Same pain And was told shouldn't have pain. Then went to er after couldn't handle pain anymore. Stone, kidney backed up again. The nurses you call into never do what they say. Very disappointed. Vanderbilt hospital was awesome but urology group only worried about not giving pain medication out not listening to the patient . So now tube going back in and surgery should have had a month ago. At Columbia where they actually did a ct.

He Berated me in front of open door so everyone could hear. Sent me chasing a wild goose chase. Refused to listen to me even after I told him I had already been checked for that issue. Wasted time and money after traveling hours to see him.

Every staff member starting with the parking attendant, the receptionist, the in hospital guides who helped with direction, the insurance people, the nurses and the doctor who preformed my surgery were kind, knowledgeable, professional, and very caring. I highly recommend Vanderbilt Urology and Vanderbilt University
