Hi William, great question. The right mix of top soil to local soil is heavily dependant on your soil type and goals. First, we would recommend you contact the local IFAS extension office and request a free soil test. Once you have the results you can amend the soil based on your specific needs and the needs of the plants you are growing. Our organic top soil has a host of benefits at any mix ratio, you’ll increase the nutrient content of the soil, help soil retain moisture, and also stabilize soil pH. I don't think Griffis Lumber is your answer but there is a company on South 441 just before you get to the Prairie on the right hand side of the road perhaps they can help I don't know the name of the company but if you go south on 441 right before you get to the Prairie you'll see it on the right
