This office chose to lie, twice, and not one person showed me the respect of giving me a phone call. I am seeking a new doctor immediately. I would NOT recommend this company if you want to be treated with care and dignity.

I’m 79 and have a lot of pain. 3 Drs. Suggested medical marijuana. From the moment I connected with Canna MD. They were nothing but helpful. At my appointment I discovered my Drs. Office hadn’t sent any information and Canna MD was very helpful and then they helped get the application for the Florida state card plus all the important things I needed to know on my phone. They told me a couple of things to look for in the shops and I must say the shop I used, Trulieve, was extremely helpful also. It was a very pleasant experience.

This was my 3rd visit with Dr Beyer. He has been consistently wonderful in every way. Very patient, kind and informative. The Canna MD experience has positively impacted my life.

We have clinics all over the state! However, our office in Gainesville is located at: 2610 NW 43rd St, Suite 2D, Gainesville, FL 32606.
Other than our appointment costs, we don’t charge any other fees! (Please note: The Florida Department of Health charges a separate $75 fee.)
As outlined by Amendment 2, the following conditions qualify for medical marijuana treatment in Florida: ALS, cancer, Crohn’s disease, epilepsy, glaucoma, HIV/AIDS, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, and PTSD. In addition to these qualifying conditions, Senate Bill 8A also allows for treatment of other “diagnosable, debilitating conditions of like, kind, or class” (such as anxiety, depression, and migraines), as well as terminal conditions (diagnosed by a physician other than the physician issuing certification) and chronic nonmalignant pain (defined as pain caused by a qualifying medical condition that persists beyond the usual course of that condition). To find out if your condition is eligible, simply give us a call at (855) 420-9170! You may also visit: https://www.cannamd.com/conditions/
Yes! Our physicians are state-licensed, board-certified MDs and DOs just like any other doctor you might visit. However, our physicians went through additional training in order to be able to legally recommend medical marijuana to patients, as mandated by Florida state law.
Florida law requires all recommending physicians to complete a state-mandated training program in order to qualify patients for medical marijuana use. All CannaMD physicians are state-licensed, board-certified physicians who have completed this additional training.
If you see one of our physicians and don’t qualify for whatever reason, we offer a 100% money-back guarantee!
Before purchasing cannabis from a medical marijuana treatment center (or dispensary), Florida patients must first qualify for a medical marijuana certification; CannaMD provides qualified patients with the state-required recommendation to complete this process. The state of Florida outlines a number of eligible health conditions. To see if yours is one of them, simply give our board-certified physicians a call at (855) 420-9170. We’re happy to review your personal medical history for FREE and steer you in the right direction!
Yes, we currently certify for arthritis. Please feel free to give our doctors a call at (855) 420-9170 to learn more!
Florida law requires patients to see a medical cannabis physician in person every seven months; some clinics require patients to come in more frequently for a lesser fee (which equates to greater expense in the long run). CannaMD's fee of $195 every seven months is aligned with industry standards.
Medical marijuana certifications are valid for 210 days. Per Senate Bill 8A, patients must then visit a qualified medical marijuana physician (like CannaMD) to renew. Note: State law requires all renewal appointments to be in-person; this isn't a process you can complete online and/or over the phone. Please feel free to give us a call at (855) 420-9170 if you have any other questions!
Yes! In accordance with state law, all CannaMD doctors hold an active, unrestricted license as either an allopathic physician or osteopathic physician and are in compliance with all state-mandated education requirements. (At this time, educational requirements include completing an annual course and exam administered by either the Florida Medical Association or Florida Osteopathic Medical Association.)
If you’re a first-time patient, our appointment fee is $195. Renewal appointments are $195. (Note: Florida law requires patients to complete an in-person renewal appointment every 210 days.) However, CannaMD is happy to extend a 10% discount to all veterans and active duty service members. Please note: The Florida Department of Health charges a separate $75 fee.
Absolutely! We’re honored to offer veterans and military service members a 10% discount on all appointment fees.
Florida law requires patients to complete an in-person renewal appointment every 210 days in order to keep their medical marijuana card active. We charge $195 for this renewal appointment. However, CannaMD is happy to extend a 10% discount to all veterans and active duty service members.
Permanent and seasonal residents may qualify. According to Florida law, "the term 'seasonal resident' means any person who temporarily resides in this state [Florida] for a period of at least 31 consecutive days in each calendar year, maintains a temporary residence in this state, returns to the state or jurisdiction of his or her residence at least one time during each calendar year, and is registered to vote or pays income tax in another state or jurisdiction."
No, you do not.
Our patient liaisons are available to call on Saturday; however, physician schedules will vary. Please feel free to give us a call at (855) 420-9170 to set up a convenient appointment time!
Unfortunately, not at this time.
Says 2 weeks got mine in 5 days too

Yes, however you're welcome to chose low-THC products and/or CBD-dominant strains.
Amen to that...I have used this Dr. for three years now... excellent service.
Hi Heidi! Initial appointments are $249. After that, Florida law requires that patients revisit a doctor in person every 210 days. These renewal appointments are $199. CannaMD is happy to extend a 10% discount to all veterans. Patients may also save up to $75 a year by referring new patients! Please feel free to give us a call at (855) 420-9170 if you have any additional questions. We're happy to help!
