Would've been nice to mention you will not be seen unless you wear a face diaper BEFORE you wasted time reserving and attending an appointment. Employees walk into the building without a mask to put on a mask after they clock in.......I don't get paid to wear mine and I will not be bullied to wear one, either. 1001 eye clinics in Florida, trust me I would've gone elsewhere had someone been open and upfront about a ridiculous mask mandate that both the State of Florida and CDC have eliminated months ago. If you or someone you know are looking for competent eye care without outdated covid restrictions, this is NOT the place to go 👎

I would actually give Dr. Jocum 5 stars, but their Optometrist doesn’t get 1/2 star. My cataract surgery went well, as well as both of my follow up visits on each eye. He seemed a little rushed by the time I got to my send follow up on the second eye though. I then made an appointment for my refraction so I could get glasses. Dr. Ananthan-Nair was rude, and told me I have 20/20 vision after surgery and I don’t need anything else. When I explained I couldn’t see at all to drive at night, he seemed a little “put off” as if he couldn’t understand how that could possibly be. He then gave me an exam using a phoropter. I had glasses made, and still can’t see to drive at night so I called for an appointment for an Rx check. I knew I was on a 30 day time line to have this done. The first 2 days available, only one time slot was available, and I had previous commitments. The next available isn’t until the middle of AUGUST!! My Rx is originally dated 6/6. I continue to not be able to drive at night until I get new glasses made. This is absurd to make your patients wait this long. Dr. Jocum, you need to do better! This is very disrespectful to your patients.

Waited for contacts. Lost my records. I'm a gluten for punishment so I waited until they organized. Months later they lost me again. Didn't know who I was, but they did send me a bill.

Sadly my 92 year old Dad was treated like trash. He went to pick up his records because he can't be seen, and he's suffering vision loss. The front desk receptionist was rude, sarcastic, and demeaning. I wouldn't recommend this practice to an adversary. The front desk is the face of your practice. Make sure you have professional personnel that represents you adequately.

Yes they do take
Yes and love them.
I believe they a variety types of insurance.I have Humana
Medicare covers basic cataract surgery fully. This is not laser surgery, but it is a good surgery and should return your vision well. Agree that it's best to consult with the office and get an appointment scheduled to walk through your options
