They used to let you sit for 15 min or so if your blood pressure or temperature is too high then retest you. Apparently they don't do that anymore so now I'm sitting on the side of the road waiting for someone to bring me gas so I can get home. That was supposed to be my gas money

I’m giving them 1 star for todays visit. After I was done with my donation there was a csl member taking a donor off the machine because he was done. He clean the station for that donor then came to my station to work on me with out changing his glove. I had to remind him to change his glove he apologized but the point is if I hadn’t spoke up he would’ve continued with out changing his gloves which I think is very dangerous.

I had been donating plasma there for years. About 8 months ago my veins started to show signs of fatigue. It was hard to find a good spot to insert the neddle to where the machine wouldn't stop during its draw cycle. A donation which usually took an hour would sometimes take two hours. On several occasions I simply got frustrated with the mach and opted to stop the process. Eventually this prompted management to give me a "6 month vein rest". When i came back from the 6 months everything had gone fine till my 6th donation where the machine was acting up and I had a bus to catch home. This prompted the management to tell me not to come back. This place will use you until they damage your veins and then spit you out like a used piece of gum.

Yes
It depends on the location of the center u go to. At volusia ave in orange city its $60 the first donation than $75 the second $60 the third $75 the fourth than from here on out its $20 and some months like this month its an extra $10 bonus the second day of the week u donate. You can also wait 6months after u get paid $20 the fifth time and start over as an new donor and get $60 $75 $60 $75 ... no offense but if u weight about 175 like i do u would get $25 the first day u go than $65 the second time you go back that same week with a day break in between u can also win surprises this month only or unless the company choses to do a event again the following month , your welcome !!
You have to watch a video and answer some questions..make sure you bring I'd, and social security card also.. it takes about 3hrs if it's your 1st time coming
Ty
I believe 6 months then you get 125 for 8 times
I dont believe there is a cap on age but everyone gets screened by a nurse after you complete a medical questionnaire.
Yes
Don't know there's a way to do that
no, its walk in, the app shows the best times to go though
70.00 unless you sign under someone. Then you get 70 first 2 weeks 100 on the third and 145 on the sixth
I thought it was 45 days. However i would definitely call to ask a customer service clerk.
They only do plasma. Similar to a platlet donation. They draw your blood and it goes into the machine and seperates the plasma which goes into a bottle while your red cells are returned to you. It takes 5 or 6 draws to fill the bottle with plasma. Depending on your weight payment is 18 to 25 your first visit of the week 30 to 40 the second visit of the week. You are allowed to go twice a week with 2 days between visits. They usually have a $20 bounes on you 6th 7th and 8th visit in addition to your regular payment. If you have never been there before your first 3 or 4 visits should be about 50 to 60 dollars each. Updated July 2020 they now have set payments depending on how many donations you give in a 35 day period. Top payment $51 per donation for 2 donations a week. As your donations go down your payments go down about $3 a donation. It is best to try 2 donations a week to stay at top level which would be about $408 a month in your pocket as you help save lives.
If u weight 110 -149 you get $18 the first donation of the week and $25 the second donation of the week If u weight 150 - 174 you get $20 the first donation of the week and $35 the second donation of the week and If you weight 175 - 400 you get $25 the first donation of the week and $45 the second donation of the week
I'm not sure if you can or not! But I would give it a try and see what they say! Can't hurt!
They are open on weekends and new donors are welcome any day. Federal regulations state you can't donate two days in a row and no more than twice in a seven day period. The first time you donate expect it to take 2 to 3 hours. After that it typically takes 30 to 90 minutes.
It seems to depend on what medications you may be on. Stop in and ask one of the drs. They unfortunately wont discuss stuff like this over the phone.
Not sure of exact weight. About 170 and below is 18 to 20 dollars first visit of the week. Over 170 $25 first visit of the week. Its a little more for second visit. You are allowed to donate twice in a 7 day period. If you have never donated before I think the first 3 visits are around $60. If you donate twice a week all month They have $20 dollar bonus on 6th 7th and 8th donation . Bonus changes monthly sometimes.
Yes open till 4pm
No you don't need a appointment, but make sure you have two to three hours to spare.
Yes. There is a list of medications that would prevent you from being able to donate. You can contact their medical team for more info.
$25 for the first donation second donation same week is $60 if you are only donating once a week you will only receive the $25
You have to be a resident of the county where you are trying to donate
I dont think so aslong as you don't take any medication that already has plasma in it
It could be your nerves and anxiety
Yes it does.
All ATMs accept the card. Pick an ATM that is fee free because the card itself will still charge you 1.50. So it ends up being cheaper.
Can you come back same day if u leave quick
Very simple walk-in be prepared to wait two to three Hours for the first time after that donations take about 30 to 45 minutes and pay goes up in March hope to see new donors
Walk in
Apply in person
$50 for your first three donations
You need to call them and someone will check for you over phone
Yes, we use the plasma from your blood. It doesn't matter what blood type you are.
Yes
Has to be original
*there* You must have updated license, a couple proofs of residence, and able to pass through various questions and hemoglobin check. There might be a couple more things but that's the jist of it.
You must first go through a medical and legal checkup. They also verify your address to make sure that you're within a certain radius around the center.
