Great place for overnight camping if you're passing through half mile off Interstate.. but a lot of locals and full-timers in the park but very friendly

People were nice, but nothing particularly special about this park. We we’re able to get a pull through, so that was nice. It was also an easy on/off from the highway, which was good for an overnight as we we’re passing through. Thankfully as a Passport America, we only had to pay 1/2 price.

Richard (owner) is a great guy. Very helpful and friendly... very family orinentated guy. Beautiful land with 125+ acres of prestine tennesse land. (Ask about the small waterfall he has on his land.) Great campground. A month or a day you wont be disappointed. Great prices and great views

My wife and I were looking for a place to set up our camper so that we could come up from Alabama to help volunteer with the floods in Humphreys County. We contacted the staff at Tanbark and asked if they had any availability and explained what are plans had been. The owner said that he would definitely make arrangements and that he wouldn't charge for our stay. We made it there that evening and he came to us wanting the details on how he too could volunteer. Sure enough he was also out in Waverly the next morning helping with the volunteer workers.. Wonderful people, quite Park and good location off I40.

Yes if he has a spot available but the owner can be a hateful old man at times he is very particular do not put any cigarettes on the ground anywhere on the property which I understand it's his but he is very particular and cost wise I don't know I'm sorry
We had a cat and a dog. I saw a few other people with two dogs. I didn't see it listed, but he said as long as they were controlled and well-behaved, it was okay to have our two.
I resently moved out of there, i oaid $300 a month plus my iwn electric bill,, they have city water and its i cluded in tbe rent,,, richard is the owner and he is a great landlord that lives above the office
We payed $40 the night.. Arrive very very late at night.. And left around 1.30pm.. But no one rush us. Very nice place.
