Breezy Point Cabins On Lake Superior

Beautiful location right on Lake Superior. Friendly staff and easy check in/check out process. We really enjoyed our stay, especially sitting out by the fire (while drinking coffee and looking out at the lake--magical!). The cabins are nicely renovated and very comfortable. The fireplace sets the ambiance for a cozy feel. We were a close drive to everything we wanted to do (Gooseberry Falls, Split Rock Lighthouse, Iona's Beach, Castle Danger Brewery, New Scenic Café), and it was so nice to come back from sightseeing to this peaceful place. We can't wait to come back!

This was the quick getaway place my wife and I needed. We stayed in unit# 10 and it's right on the water, they're all pretty much right on the water. Great views and the place was clean and communication with the staff was perfect. We'll be staying here again.

PROS: The main grounds are clean, paved, organized and well maintained. All cabins have a private deck that looks out over the lake. Our cabin (10) had a firepit outside that we were more than happy to make use of, and direct access to the lake. Firewood is available on site so you don't have to do the research on what can or can't be used there. Inside the cabin, they make great use of the space. It did not feel small, and the giant windows that gives you a beautiful view of the lake and sunrise will be your best friends during your stay. The kitchenette is perfectly sized and is fully equipped with everything you need to cook, eat and clean up. The bathroom is modern, clean and has a nice shower. CONS: Very minor, but our range was missing important temperature and setting labels around the knobs that made it a little hard to use. If you looked closely, you could see slight outlines of what they used to be so we managed.

This was the 3rd time we've stayed in one of the studio cabins, and each stay we love these cabins more and more. The decor is "luxury rustic" and so charming. Very comfortable furnishings, and the large windows and private decks right on the lake just can't be beat. We also love that each cabin has its own private fire pit. We will be returning for years to come for sure!
