I have never written a poor review of a business before, but felt as if I must for this hotel. I travel extensively and this was the absolute worst experience I have ever had at a hotel both domestically and internationally. The only redeeming quality was that the front desk staff was friendly. The lobby and elevators were dirty, the floor sticky, and both remained that way for our stay. Many of the doors to rooms looked as if someone had tried to break into them. The room was not very clean, there was only one threadbare towel for two of us, there was no shower curtain lining, the shower curtain itself was ripped, and the overall hotel was very rundown and we did not feel safe. We had asked for a late (12 pm) checkout, to which we were granted, but then we were called by another front desk clerk at 11 am and told we had to checkout. We have stayed at Holiday Inn Express locations in the past and I cannot say that this hotel was anywhere comparable to the other locations we have stayed prior. Had we planned to stay longer than one night, we would have left this hotel immediately and found somewhere else. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

I am a value customer and I love the holiday inn when I travel or just need a place of peace and quiet. This particular location will not be my area to choose again. When we first arrived the room that I booked was not available so they had to change that and I was charged two days before I got there then the elevator sound like it was going to break the hallway trash cans was full and over flowing and someone took a dump by the elevator in the hallway the towels were dingy looking as well as the sheets on the bed. We asked for extra towels they were not able to get any clean ones. The overall experience was horrible the breakfast did not look appealing and the fruit was all old and molded.

We were on town for the JSU spring game and unofficial college visit for my son. Check in was good, the clerk was nice. Lobby was full of teenagers hanging out and loud but but thay didn't bother me. Elevators were smelly and slow. Our room was freezing so we adjusted the temp but then there was a weird, very unpleasant smell coming from the unit. Next morning, breakfast was pretty decent [the kids liked it]. The shower drain was super slow and collected about 3 inches of water. I usually bring my own towels but forgot. I asked for more towels [8:30 am] and was told by 2 different employees that they had NO CLEAN TOWELS in the ENTIRE hotel. I was also told it would be hours before they were ready. There were 4 of us in the room and only enough towels for 2 people. Thirty-five minutes later, we were able to get 2 damp wash cloths. Although the staff was nice, I wouldn't stay here again and would not recommend.

This Hotel is so pretty at night. It has an ambient lavender lighting surrounding the building that shoots up into the sky. I love it. Lavender is such a pretty color to me. They also have continental breakfast and nice rooms. Breakfast may be limited due 5o COVID-19.

I don't work there but yes and maybe to your questions. The coliseum is right down the street and they offer active duty but not sure about veteran. They should though if not! Thanks for your service 🇺🇸
