This is the real deal. An original antebellum plantation home... roughly 9 rooms run as a very nice bed and breakfast. The grounds were well kept the house is in need of some repair work however it was not falling apart. Ashley was a very nice and knowledgeable hostess and the rooms were comfortable we all slept very nicely. The breakfast was satisfactory and the tour and history was awesome. One thing that gave us pause was the water... its a litley tinted brown due to the cypress roots in the underground water supply- I think that is actually the entire area, not just the Belmont. It's not harmful or smelly... and after reading is actually good for you... just not used to it. 4 stars on the room only because I an not a bug person and there were quit a few spiders and webs. 4 stars on location is only due to there being very little around it nor in the town. It was easily located. Highly recommended.

Camille Collins represents the best Belmont Plantation has to offer. Owners are fortunate to have such a dedicated person working for them. She was accommodating, kind and informative about the property and Delta. Camille’s experience in tourism and event planning brings a high level of southern comfort to your stay. The property is well maintained for its age. Beautiful antique furnishings adorn each room. Beds were comfortable and on demand hot water is yet another example of the comfort that awaits guests. In offering constructive criticism, a flexible breakfast time would be more enjoyable for those of us who like to sleep in. Although, not a deal breaker. Also, the continental breakfast foods are okay. However, a hot breakfast would make Belmont world class. So, final verdict, you will absolutely love Ms. Camille and the comfort and experience offered you at Belmont Plantation. Definitely a 5 out of 5!
