The Brewster Inn was a delight. Mark and Tina were friendly and extremely helpful. Mark’s recommendations hit the spot for lunch and dinner. Our room was spotless and huge- it’s worth booking the honeymoon suite. The tub was more than amazing! Breakfast each morning was delicious and flavorful. Can’t wait to come back and explore Maine even more!

If you are looking for a comfortable, clean, welcoming, and unique stay in or around the town of Dexter, you won’t want to pass up on everything that the Brewster Inn offers! Me and my fiancé stayed here for two days in the Honey Moon Suite and left feeling super relaxed and recharged. The tub in the room is amazing and the best I’ve seen in any inn/hotel. We didn’t get to meet Tina as the owners were experiencing a family emergency, but one would never know that they were spread thin. Mark was wonderful in catering to our every needs and supplying great activity and restaurant suggestions. The price of the room was very affordable too! I will be dreaming about the breakfast until we can make it up again for another stay.

I don't know how anyone could rate this Inn below a 5. It's beautiful, quiet and the hosts, Mark and Tina are absolutely wonderful. The house is historical and they are willing to share the history taking pride in their investment as they should. The grounds are well maintained and they have stunning gardens out back that are just beginning to bloom. There is a screened in porch you can sit and drink your morning coffee, greeting the sun or relax before you retire. They have another porch off the back that looks out over their stunning gardens. The Inn is also well maintained. Right off the bat we broke a towel rack and they just took it in stride like it was no big deal. (We are truly sorry) The common areas are just as spotless as the rooms are. We stayed in a sea themed room and it was so creatively decorated. The bed was beyond comfortable, the closet large, and it had a jetted tub (YAY). It is obvious that Mark and Tina take great pride in their home and their investment. I can't think of a better place to stay.

Mark and Tina were amazing hosts! Very communicative and available immediately when we arrived for check in. The “honeymoon suite” was very spacious and cozy, as well as had great antique decor. We loved the gas fireplace and in room jacuzzi especially! Everything was incredibly clean and the daily breakfasts were delicious! We had a wonderful time and would love to come back in the future

Use the Brewster Inn as your base to go and explore. State Parks, hikes, moose watching, wilderness tours, kayaks, canoes, white water rafting, wineries, ATV’s, snowmobiling, cross country ski-ing and snowshoeing. We even know a guide that does excellent tours of all the sights and sounds of the Stephen King books and films as SK only lives about 40min away. There are 2 locations here in Dexter. Even the coast at its’ nearest point is just a short 50min away.
Check in is 3pm and check out is 11am. Other times may be arranged, if possible, when you book directly at www.brewsterinn.com
The Brewster Inn's goal is the B&B will feel as if it's your home away from home. Each room is private with its own private bathroom as well. Guests share the dining room for breakfast. There are communal areas such as the large living room, screen porch, back patio and gardens where guests can also spend time. Each guest has their own key to their room and the B&B front door so you can come and go as you please.
Yes abolutely is is. We have a hot dish that changes between sweet and savory each day. Also available are coffee, tea, orange juice, bagels, muffins, bread for toast, fresh fruit salad, fruity breads, hard boiled eggs and cereals/oatmeal. An excellent selection to give you a great start to your day.
Our guest rooms range from $89 - $159 a night plus tax and inc breakfast. We don't put our prices up in the summer like a lot of properties in Maine. We keep the same room rate year round
Yes, absolutely. Each of our guestrooms contains their own private bathrooms. Some have showers, others have tub/showers. A couple also have whirlpool tubs.
So many ideas! Always best to call and tell us what you like (207)924-3130. Also see the answer to "What is there to do in your part of Maine?" post. The coast is only 50min away. We have itineraries for great day trips taking in coastal towns, state parks, hiking opportunities, lighthouses, public beaches, waterfalls, ice caves (yes even in summer). Locations where you can possibly see the milky way and meteor showers. We always have guests stay multiple nights and just base themselves here and have an amazing time. Too many great ideas that would fill this reply box.
