Very unpleasant experience. I'm not sure what has happened to IHG over the past year or 2 but it's sad. For 1 my experience today when checking in, I was not greeted with a thank you for being a diamond Elite member, 2nd my Room preference floor level was not anywhere near correct, 3rd no upgrades were offered, 4th I felt like I was rushed without anyone behind me in line, and 5th parking was not available so valet parking is required and an extra charge to the almost $200 after taxes Room bill per night. What was the point for striving to earn points and becoming an Diamond Elite member when you get the same level of service as a fast food restaurant. 😓

Positive: Location, style, decor, staff, confort Negative: No Microwave available. A common area where you could go heat milk would be nice. Shower needed a new water gard, the whole bathroom got flooded, shower glass looked dirty. Needs hard water cleaned

Hotel Indigo has some of the friendliest, polite, respectful and accommodating staff out there. I was greeted every evening with warm smiles. Anything I needed, they promptly provided. My room and bathroom were very spacious. The location is ideal for an overall downtown experience; restaurants, bars, live music, river walk and more were all within walking distance. I thoroughly enjoyed my 2 month stay here while in Baton Rouge for work.
