At the beginning I was thinking that Montefiori was a good hospital. However, I was in the emergency of the hospital the one that is located on 111 East 210th Street, and I found that there is not respect for the patients. There are two nurses from the Dominican Republic , I do not know their names that they laugh and make fun about the patients. Also the security are very disrespectful. It was an incident in which an old lady took her clothes away and instead of the nurse put something to cover her she and the security guard were laughing. This is unacceptable. Montefiorie has to train this people to be more empathy and to respect the patients no matter what is their condition. I hope that this comment make the hospital to be carefully when they hire people . Please do not go to the emergency room of this hospital . They are very inefficient, the place is uncomfortable, there is not privacy and everybody is watching.

Wether your admitted or in the er you are treated with no compassion here. Only some nurses are nice but for the most part it feels as if the staff its only here to get there paycheck. Everything takes long. And you have to be on top of the nurses. It should be the other way around. Avoid this place

The worst part about this place is the waiting time in the Emergency room I was picked up by an ambulance and I waited 9 hours in a bed before I was seen but once I was they took good care of me..they took blood work, urine and xray and that's when they found the problem and gave me medication and after a couple days I started to feel better!!

Montefiore does not have a dental department. Patients from Montefiore for dental work goes to North Central Bronx Hospital.
You can only have two people a day. It U must sign a covert sheet . Write ✍️ No no no. Then check agree ☑️ What's your name and address phone number. At the bottom of the page you write the room number, bed number and the color of the zone. Then you'll get a sticker pass and go upstairs to visit your loved one.
You can contact Montifiore my chart and explain the situation to them or go in person to the administration office and they will help you
Yes,
Call the main hospital phone number and hit the prompt for information on a patient. Visitation is from 2-6pm but the ICU may have specific restrictions. If you can visit, come at 12 as the line is long by 2pm.
Not to my knowledge
Yes, You can walk in thru the emergency department and be seen by an MD just bring in alot of patience. Our ED is one of the busiest unit in NYC.

Yes in general
There's a Medical Records Dept or Administration Dept. Ask the Security where's the Depts at and he/she will be able to tell you what floor they're in. Also I THINK the Medical Records is a dollar per page.
That shuttle is for students and Doctors going to other Montefiore hospitals and clinics
Monte takes all

I'm not exactly sure you would prob have to Google dental clinic to find out exact number
Yes there is a visitor parking, I'm not sure if you have to pay though. I would definitely go in person to the hospital to find out about the visit parking.

If they catch both. Just call the respective clinic. Luck.
They have MICU or medical ICU, which is a general unit, but not specific ICU for neurological disorders
The children's hospital at montefiore is amazing. You can also try mount Sinai or new York Presbyterian. My prayers for your baby. May he/she recover soon and fully. Blessings.
I say yes, but strongly suggest picking up a phone and calling them directly. You'll get a clear, concise, and prompt response
Try to google it and see if it shows....sorry.
Yes it sure is
Yes, it's on gun hill road.
Montefiore now has partnerships with City MD, but their main urgent care center can be found at 2500 Westchester Avenue.
This is a question best answered by medical staff at the hospital. Strongly recommend giving them a visit. You can make an appointment with the family care center on 3444 kossuth avenue.
It has outpatient but you will have to check with your insurance company to see if they can be your providers for care.
I advise you to call the hospital and ask.
If you need an appointment I suggest you call Montefiore directly. If you need regular patient care doctors, more than likely you will have to go to office on the Kossuth Avenue side.
You should call. I have found that some doctors at some hospitals accept my insurance and some do not.
Unfortunately not. It is done at the hospital. May be able to do it over the phone. Just give them a call
You need to go to the hospital. You need immediate medical care.
I don't believe there are any visiting hours in the emergency room. You just have to go through a security guard
Are you looking for employment with montefiore?
