If you care at all about your health, let alone your time. Do not go to this NYU Langone location. I had the misfortune of needing to come here twice, both times the doctor saw me more than 45-minutes past my scheduled appointment time, and it required having to check-in w/ the receptionists several times before my name was finally called. Each time, the "long wait" was apologized for with an explanation that there was a miscommunication problem between the receptionists and the staff and I was told there was no reason I should have been waiting that long. Just about every staff member I saw was sitting around, evidently not working, and staring at their phone, so the miscommunication issue make sense. Save your energy and go somewhere that actually cares about your health and respects your time.

My elderly mother's primary care physician is with this practice. She became very ill and short of breath. Since she is 94 we wanted to make sure we had a DNR and also wanted a referral to hospice we did not want to go to an emergency room. We left several messages on email and after multiple holds where you would hold for over 25 minutes and finally get through to a person who would say "please hold" and put you right back on hold again! Just appalling. In the end we had to take her to emergency just to get her put on hospice and that was very harrowing for her and unnecessary - a doctor who knew her could have done that for her. Do not use this place for you primary care doctor. It is worse than having no doctor. Maybe this is standard for New York - I live in Michigan and we can get a hold of our primary care doctor. The worst. The worst.

Office was clean but staff were belittling. Staff spoke to me with aggression and disrespect when I arrived for my appt on time and not 30 min early since I was a new pt. Understandable but demanding why I’m late upon arrival is just in poor taste, especially when your eyes have trouble focusing. It was quite horrific. will be trying the location in manhattan and hope to receive proper professional care that NYU is so well known for 0/10 do not recommend. PS The woman withe brown skin was lovely.

We are now in November of 2021. I have been trying to get important paperwork to provide job protection since July 2021 i have. My paperwork wasn't looked at until August 2021. I messaged many times stressing that the due date for the paper was near and i was told to wait. It had been a week and a half . When i finally saw the doctor in person in August she told me that i had the wrong paperwork. The doctor told me to comeback with the right paper work and i would get a blood work done. I returned and the doctor wasn't in office and she forgot to put in my blood work order. Thankfully staff was able to help me. The paperwork was sent to MetLife incomplete 3 times (September, October, and November) . I have reached the end of my patience with this location and Doctor. One start for the staff that helped as much as they could with getting my paperwork in. My paper isn't completed still, it just seems best to find another Doctor and office
