Repaired wooden fence they had installed many years ago. Repairs were done well and the company was communicative and responsive throughout the process.
Eric Givens
Amazing service and they completed the work promised on time. It rained the next day and Long Fence came out to complete the work promised. You don't get customer service like this during this day & age.
Frank Barnett
They were quick to respond and always acted professional. During the installation, they were efficient and worked hard, even during bad rain they still completed the project. My fence looks so amazing.
Aaron Gow
Work was quick and professionally done. They even worked around me, pausing the construction to remove a tree. Highly recommend.

Time depends on size and style of fence. We do most residential jobs in a day. Residential chain link uses mainly anchors. If rock is encountered the use of a jack hammer may need to be introduced into the install.
Determine your fence style and materials based on your needs and your home’s architecture. Will the fence be purely an aesthetic landscaping feature? Are you looking for absolute privacy? Will it be used to control access to a pool, protect the children’s play area or prevent your dog from escaping? Your answers will go a long way in determining what type of fence is best for you.
Contact your local utility companies to help you determine the location of underground gas, water and power lines. The service is usually free.
Discuss your intentions with your immediate neighbors. They may be considering a similar project, in which case you might be able to pool your resources and share the costs of a dividing fence.
Check with your HOA to be sure there are no restrictions on fence installation or if there are style guidelines in effect for your community.
You should locate your plat to determine your property lines. You will want to be sure the fence lies within the confines of your own property. If you are not sure of your property’s boundaries, a lot stake out is recommended.
Yes, but your existing structure must pass local building codes.
We have three different options for decking: treated wood with stabilizers, composite or vinyl. All three products offer benefits to the homeowner depending on their lifestyle, budget and individual preferences.
Our standard installation is to keep the deck floor below the door threshold to prevent moisture from “wicking” into the doorframe and causing rot. We will, however, build a deck tight to the threshold when instructed by a homeowner or in applications that require full accessibility.
The sales associate should leave their business card and their contact numbers and email address with the proposal. Or you may contact us and we will put you in touch with your sales associate.
Every job is different and many factors can determine its completion date, but once we start your job, we will keep you informed of its progress until its completion.
Your salesperson should provide you with an estimated start date. Jobs cannot be started until all necessary permits have been obtained and Miss Utility has been called. Once the permits are obtained and the property is marked, you will be notified of your installation date. Weather can also be a factor in determining the start date of a job. If you are ever uncertain about your installation date, please contact your sales associate for clarification.
We utilize both. Most of our subcontractors have been with us for at least five years. The installation manager determines the best crew for the job. If you ever have a concern about installation, please contact us.
Long® Fence is required by law to contact Miss Utility prior to starting any job. Underground utilities need to be marked on the property where the job will be installed in order to prevent damage or injury during installation.
No, unless there are specific community rules or zoning ordinances, a fence is typically installed just inside the property line.
While we are not surveyors, we can order surveys in most areas at a reasonable cost.
No. Long® Fence obtains all necessary permits. Variances are the customer’s responsibility.
We furnish and install fencing and related perimeter security products such as gates, bollards, railings, guardrails and access control systems. We also furnish and install decks, related structures, hardscaping and irrigation systems. We provide service to residential and commercial clients.
I am not sure what all long fence does. We used them for a deck replacement and they did a great job.
