This is a nice "Suburbia Park/Lake/Campground" with a summer water park. One can pretend they are sort of in the wilderness. Is close to Dulles Airport and Toll Road can be heard ... nice Campground with decent amount of clean public bathrooms as well as multiple private bathroom/shower combos for campers. Warm and cool bathrooms too depending on season. Plenty of mix use spots for tent or standard rv as well as a few bigger rv spots with full electric 30/50 amps. Dump station is free for campers. Clean facilities and park workers keep the trash cans empty throughout the day.

Great place. Looks like they are working to level out the sites. Just don’t need to start at 8am. What needs to be improved on is people send their kids into the showers and the unscrew the shower heads to use hose to fill jugs with hot water and they leave the heads off then when done. Then leave it to you screw them back on but the plumbers tape is gone and water sprays everywhere. There is an outdoor bathroom sink but not deep enough to put a jug under or do dishes properly. It would be awesome if built an outdoor dishwashing station with deep sink, hot water and a spigot kids can work. There is a potable water spigot by the RV dump but not easy to use. Also need signs for people not to use showers for portable washing machines. That is not the intended use. Also sure that is contributing to the problem with shower spray heads. Dont be alarmed if you find yourself camping next to protesters. They seemed to keep to themselves, just slept in their cars and vans at night.

Campsite was not well maintained. Picked up 87 cigarette butts, 9 screws, 4 bottle caps, and countless other pieces of little trash just on my site. No level ground and overrun with weeds. Trash and stones in fire pit. Showers poorly constructed with tons of standing water from improperly sloped floors. Construction happening during the day to regravel sites near me - still no level ground, but fresh crushed rock for driveways. Mixed use sites don't have tent pads. Otherwise ok. Drinking water available. Hot water for showers. Overall three stars.

I paid $55 per night to have a site with electric hook-up access(I do tents) because I was also working and needed my internet access. It also depends on the site you choose and weekday vs weekend, etc...
