Stayed here for a solo business trip and it was very nice and comfortable. Free parking is available for those staying and the building, lobby, and room were very clean. For quick stays where you need a comfortable bed and a desk to work on, it is a nice hotel, and has easy access to the surrounding DC area. Small fridge in the room as well. Bathroom was very clean, and provided soaps and lotion with good scents, and clean towels of varying sizes. A small cafe is available downstairs for food and breakfast, however a fantastic Thai restaurant is nearby within walking distance, as well as many food malls nearby by car. Only minor complaints I had were a lack of microwave in the room, and lack of dedicated business center in the hotel. However, the staff was extremely kind and helpful, and were able to assist with both late at night in the lobby. Very nice, and thank you!

Renovation is nice. Except they took out the pool!

This Sheraton recently completed a gut renovation so the room, common areas, and gym actually feel modern, and unlike a typical Sheraton. However, the bones of the building remain untouched, so the walls between rooms are paper thin (I was woken multiple times overnight from my neighbor continuously gagging and vomiting in their bathroom). But beyond this, the service from frontline staff is incredibly lackluster. Great service happens at the margins, but at the Sheraton Reston they are nowhere near this. A few wrinkles: - at check-in there was zero recognition of status (Titanium in my case), and I had to ask for the benefits like the breakfast voucher. The guy said since I did mobile check in, there was no explanation needed. This is incorrect, the app does nothing other than ask for your arrival time and room preferences. Plus, no explanation of any of the hotel features, restaurants, etc. Just, here is your key... - I tried to call the hotel while away for the day, but could not get through. Their system was having some technical issue (the sound was a 0.2 out of 10). When I mentioned this as feedback to two different front desk staff, both tried to make it seem like it was my fault and that there was no possibility of their phones not working. TERRIBLE. Who talks like this to guests? - at least parking is plentiful and free. There is also a shared garage with the next door Westin. However, they can't seem to ever get their single EV charging station fixed. It's remained broken for a long time. Bottom line, whoever is managing the Sheraton Reston is not doing their job properly, and either is enabling OR oblivious to the fact that the service line staff treat guests dismissively. If you minimize interactions with the Reston Sheraton staff, check this place out. Otherwise, come with very low expectations (and with ear plugs).

The signage for parking could be much better. I parked in the back far from the check in desk because I was following the parking signs. The hotel entrance isn’t obvious when driving up to the complex because there are so many business in the parking lot. The lighting in the parking lot was not bright enough. The prices at the restaurant were a bit too high for me. I’d rather go out and get a good meal then pay $60+ for hotel dinner. The room was nice. I liked the lighting and the plugs on the side of the bed were great! They also made it easy to use a fire stick with the tv. The bed was comfortable. The water pressure was barely enough to shower. I wouldn’t stay here again because of it. If the shower pressure was improved I’d be at a 3.5-4 star rating. They have a shuttle that seemed helpful for guests. I didn’t use it. The gym is well appointed. The elevators were a little slow.
