Attending the Wizards game we parked in a garage (Gallery Place) located directly beneath the Capital One Arena. Took the escalator up to the lobby of the arena and didn't have to go outside. Easy in and out; but event parking was $35 flat. I thought it was worth it, no hassle.

When you enter the garage area they have ADA Parking areas clearly marked but Always ask one of the parking attendants to be sure because they know where they all are and they will show you a good spot

Fairly cheap. First time user also. We got $10 cards and have been on and off a few times. But it does depend on how far you go... The kiosk where you buy your card will tell you rates from point a to be. The card cost 2 dollars initially plus whatever you put on it for fares

They have vendors there during events. There is also a subway and pizza place on 7th st NW if you walk down to H st NW and 7th thats Chinatown and there is multiple places to eat there. Happy New Year...

There are meters outside after 6p its free to park on the street. However there are parking garages at almost every corner. It is exoensive becsuse its the Nations Capitol and its very convenient. There is public transportation as well. The closest subway station to the Capital Arena is Gallery Place. Punlic transportation is better just mske sure yhe subway is running late to get you back to your destination. Check Metro
