The bike rental experience this time was super!! We had wonderful experience here!! I don’t ride bikes very often, and I was a little worried at first if I would have problems while riding; but I was totally worried 🥰🥰 We rented 2 bicycles this time. My sister and I have different heights. I didn’t expect to arrange different sizes for us (my 16-inch sister is 14 inches). After the staff handed over the bicycles to us, they accompanied us to test and helped I rechecked the number of segments one by one to see if they are all normal. After confirming that everything is ok, let us take the bicycle away🚴♀️In addition, the helmet is free for us to use! The next day we set off at 6:00 am and returned to return the bicycles at 2:30 pm. We rode for 8.5 hours, all the way to the great fall, there is no asphalt road on the road + the road is uneven, it rained the night before, the road was a little muddy, and there were even many fallen trees in the middle of the road....🤣 The journey is very hard and exhausting, but I think it is because the quality of the bicycle is really good, so I can finish it smoothly ✅ I like this store very much! I really want to buy this bike 😆🤣🤣

We had a very good experience with Big Wheel Bikes in Georgetown on 33rd. The people are especially helpful, competent, interesting to chat with and have a great sense of humor. The quality and variety of the bikes was good for us, the rental helmets were good quality and sanitized, and the locks were not wimpy. The location in G-Town is near lots of cafes and shopping, a nice part of town. Close to nice bike paths along the canal and then connecting for longer rides in several directions. It is a 20-30 minute ride from the Shop to the National Mall and all Iconic DC museums and sights. Will rent bikes from these guys again when we are in town!

A small bike shop right on the C and O Canal path. While the bike I rented could have been in slightly better tune, these guys get five stars from me because they helped me out even though they were closed for some renovations. Thanks!!

My experience renting from this place was poor. One of the employees is pretty rude and curt and he doesn’t seem overly concerned about the quality of customers’ experiences. The bike that I was given was not in great condition—some parts fell off when I hit a bump in the road and the black dye or coloring of the seat came off onto my pants and ruined them. Overall, I would not recommend renting from them. Find another business that keeps their bikes in better condition and is more attentive to customers.
