There are lots of places to stay. The Capitol One Center is located in Chinatown. It is a 2 minute walk from a Metro, green line, and will take you to plenty of places that are great to go. It is an ideal location to vacation.
There are plenty of wonderful small restaurants and bistros around the Capital Center. There's also a Metro station at the Center that can take you anywhere in the area from Arlington Cemetery to Georgetown to the Washington Nationals Stadium for a ballgame.
There are tons of hotels, museums, and attractions within walking distance.
Lots to do. The Capital One Center is right in the heart of the city; bars, great food, theatres and very close to the National Mall. The hotels around plenty, but are probably not as quality as those just a bit North (Thomas and Scott Circles). Still, youll find most major chains somewhere in the vicinity of Chinatown/Mt Vernon Sq
