Definitely the local's most favorite farm market. Peaches, berries, apples and the produces are very fresh. Also Pick your own fruits and flowers are great experiences for the whole family.

This is a great little apple orchard and farm nearly an hour from our house. It's a bit further than other places and stays a touch quieter as a result. The apples are delicious, the staff was nice and we all had a great time.

Found this farm to be a fun place for families with kids. They had a nominal entry fee for weekdays and our little one truly enjoyed his experience at the apple farm. Wasn't too crowded on a weekday noon and we were able to leisurely pick apples from trees in rows that were marked ready for picking. It was picturesque with apple trees, greenery, waterbody, farm animals and pleasant weather and perfect for photographs with little ones. Would certainly visit again and recommend this place for families with little ones.

Went here for apple picking and had a great time. They had what seemed like endless rows of trees in the apple orchard, as well as blackberry picking. The website offers good information on what is available for picking your own fruits and vegetables. They also have a little store with produce. Unfortunately, there are NO APPLE CIDER DONUTS at this farm during apple picking season which was disappointing.

There is scatter picking with the bright red tart cherries. The black red tart cherries are picked out.
When I went a few weeks ago there was no apple picking but maybe by now there is. I would email them to ask but they respond in about 48 hours so hopefully you're not planning to go today or tomorrow.
There is a cost to get into the farm and pick vegetables, fruits and pumpkins. Visiting the market is free.
Their website currently notes: "Temporarily out of pick-your-own apples. A few more expected in mid-October. May freezes wiped out most of our 2020 apple crop."

We got tons of blackberries first this morning. Make sure to check their website though to get to most up to date information. http://www.homestead-farm.net

They have had rides to the fields each time we have went. No hay on there.
We have gone picking for various different apples. There are some trees in the Honey Crisp are that do need ladders to reach. It depends more on the variety of the tree.

Most likely peaches and blackberries. They keep their website updated, and you can always call to get the most accurate list!
Yes but the season is very short, in order to ensure you get some. Go in the first week of opening in the spring/June. The season only last two maybe three weeks.
Right now it's just blueberries and some tart cherries for picking. Check their website as to what's available now. Peaches will be available again soon. There's also an admission charge, which in the past went towards pick your own. Their is no charge to access the market.

Pretty muddy. If you plan on going into any of the orchards or the pumpkin patch I suggest rain boots.
Am not sure about weekdays only weekends.

They charge a $5 per person fee to enter the orchard, but they apply that to whatever your final cost is from picking fruit. So as long as you intend to go pick, your entrance fee is technically free.
