Inspector failed to find that my heat didn’t work properly, so I moved in to a new place with no heat . I filed a claim and Protec informed me that inspectors “do not test ever mode of the system”. So if you use Protec, make sure you do your own, thorough appliance testing.

During a Pre-Drywall Inspection, we are looking for problems that will be hidden once the drywall goes up. Use ProTec’s report as evidence of defects the builder should repair before the insulation and drywall is installed. The kind of problems we might find are damaged lumber, improper supports, foundation damage, etc.
