I love the Y! It’s super clean. It’s also convenient to have it close to a trail, and Starbucks!!!

The staff is clueless, phone calls are. never answered, there is a long, long, long wait and then I am told to ask questions online. THIS IS PATHETIC. There are few yoga classes available and some of the instructors are terrible. No towels, no sauna. No one has answers to any questions. Who makes decisions:? Who do I contact to make recommendations? The quality of the Downtown Y has nosedived, and I don't think that it will ever be a decent facility in the future.

The hours are terrible. This is across all Seattle area YMCAs. the all close at 8 pm. Its hard to get a good workout in because the entire Greater Seattle YMCA hours are limited. Coming from Pierce County where most are open at 5 am and close at 10pm, I've disliked paying more for the Seattle area to have less time to workout.

They have the most wonderful staff at this branch. The weight room is tops. The pool is awesome. The basketball court is the best. The classes are super. The best Y ever.

No.. however, inquire there because some members get their time validated by the establishment.
5 -8am and 1-3pm 7-9pm
The pool has an average temperature of 86 degrees.
Unfortunately I don't have the answer for that particular question
No, but they do it for some non profit organizations.
Also, every day from 4pm-7:30pm, they can close the swimlane/reck area anytime for any duration. So you might keep that in mind before going in. You may have to wait for a very long time before you could use the pool, or you will be asked to leave and wait.
We have open badminton on Mondays at 10-11 am and every other Tuesday at 5:30-6:30 pm. I am unfamiliar with creach???
There are 2, a suspended track above the basketball courts and a smaller one around the workout area.
Yes, the desk staff can do that for you at anytime!
Its .8 miles away, and about 10 blocks of walking. I used to work very close to Kings Inn and it would take slightly more than 15min for my commute there.
No not at the downtown branch but other associations around the area may
They do have financial considerations depending on income
Yes they do
It is membership based. There is a free shower location . Seattle.gov. has a listing for free showers. I. just looked. There four locations M-F only. They may let you check out the club one day for free. They are not open on Sundays. Yes, you can get it for $30/month.
Yes
Yes.
Yes to deadlift. Gets very crowded.
Yes, there is wheelchair access throughout the facility.
I’m a woman and looking for the cheapest places for accommodation
Also, one of the lanes and the reck area can be closed anytime between 4-7:30pm. So will need to wait or be asked to leave if you were unlucky enough to have gone at the wrong time. The staff is also very unprofessional and does not know exactly what the pool timings are as far as the swim lessons are concerned which keep the pool closed.
Yes ma'am
