The new lady in the office Mary is a liar. I have caught her in multiple lies at this point. She verbally told me she issued me a 7 day notice on July 7th for June and July. I left out of town on a emergency notice June 24th 2022. I left the keys with my mom to clean the apartment and remove whatever was left behind. I did not fully vacate the apartment as I had things there that’s why no notice was given in writing. Maggie con me to think that she issued a 7 day notice in order for me to release my keys she offered me no time to get my things back and now have trashed my belongings and advised my mother that she will be charging me $300 in the state of Nebraska the landlord have to legally give you a 7 day notice to pay or quit I never got one. Also she lied and said the previous lady that ran the office quit the day before if you look at the screenshot of the email attached to this email you will see a email from the previous lady Mary saying goodbye and confirming her last day was the 8th so how did Maggie send the notice on the 7th? And more importantly why would she lie?——this is the email I just sent to corporate. I also just left a message for my attorney. I am being robbed of not only my security deposit but my personal belongings as well. Mary knight was amazing in the office easy to work with and understanding this new lady is a liar and thief do not move here you can’t do business with someone like her

Don’t move here they don’t do snow removal and the parking lot is a sheet of ice. The plumbing is horrible and there is no parking in the complex. If you do get a parking stall your vehicles will get door Dings. If you don’t park in a parking stall they will threaten to tow you vehicle away when they don’t have any signs saying no parking. Maintenance don’t come and fix anything and if they do it takes over a month. The apartments are over priced for having to deal with this kind of things. Apartments look nice but don’t let the fake Countertop fool you when looking at this place.

I have been a renter/ tenant for almost 3 years and I can honestly say that this is the best placed I’ve had the pleasure of living at. I’ve rented in many states/ cities, including Maine, Vermont, North Carolina, and New York City, but nothing compares to the Chateau and here’s why… The Chateau is more like a neighborhood than a “complex.” They are high quality, very spacious, safe/ secure apartments, and on a well-kept property (cheers to our great landscapers)! But perhaps the greatest reason why this is a true gem is because of Mary (property manager). Mary treats every problem that comes her way as a new opportunity to make things right. She has a way of approaching a problem from a different angle or experimenting with an out-of-the-box solution. Moreover, she is highly relatable, communicates through texts/emails/ or community flyers, extremely understanding, and builds relationships based on trust and respect. My two toddlers ask me daily go visit, “Mary in the Office!” We are so thankful for Mary because she encourages our little neighborhood to attend monthly parties and events catered to both kids and adults (my favorite is always sushi night)! Thanks to the events, I know and enjoy living with my neighbors who are on a first-name basis. So, if you are looking for an apartment with a neighborhood feel, one that feels like a community rather than a “complex,” then I highly recommend checking out Chateau at Hillsborough.
