This hospital will leak your information without following the HIPAA laws in place. This hospital gave my medical information to a party not listed on my release form and the doctor Michael Carlton took a suggestion as a diagnosis from this person that impacted my life for over 10 years. The diagnosis was NOT correct and I was forced on medication that harmed my body. When I contacted the board about this behavior they only said “sorry” . I had to file a complaint with OCR know your rights before you step foot in this hospital they will trample them if you don’t know. Beware… they are NOT HIPAA COMPLIANT! Check your records, read what these doctors are putting in your charts they will make fun of you thinking you’ll never read what they wrote… UNPROFESSIONAL

Grateful to have St. Luke's as a community resource for people in crisis. Getting someone into treatment is not easy. Thankfully their community engagement team made the referral process simple and the people I referred got the help they needed.

Very very bad experience. My neice was in their about a month ago and she explained to me that one of the Techs who worked there named Nay. Would be RUDE!! to her almost every time she came in. She would tell my niece her mom doesn't love her or nobody loves her and even at times "at least I've got a mom". You guys need to hire better people !! And listen to these kids when they complain on those Techs of yalls !! Shame on this place yalls! You guys are in there tearing those kids down when you guys are supposed to be there to help! Shame on this place!

Definitely feel St. Luke’s is turning around for the better. The food has improved significantly. Front desk staff are extremely helpful & pleasant. Would recommend to friends & family if needed!

Probably.
Ombudsman is more of a liaison type role. You can report to your insurance; you can also report to the department of health. That’s where I would start.
Yes,No Police are allowed inside.
Are you asking about inpatient or outpatient programs (there are 2 divisions of outpatient care)? It ultimately really depends on the individual: what help they are seeking or whether they’re really seeking it on their own, how severe the episode is, and honestly, whether this is a new process for them.
You have to see a dentist for that.
What number are you looking for? Here’s a link to the phone directory. Just scroll down to the very bottom: https://www.stlukesbehavioralhealth.org/contact-us
I believe they do accept ahcccs. Please call them. You can also enter through the ER for an emergent evaluation. God bless you Rachel. Keep praying, never stop.
Yes they have a behavioral health care place at st Luke's hospital's
You can have him transported to an urgent psychiatric care facility by the police and have a petition filled out stating what your concerns are and his inability to care for himself and his harm to self or others. He will then be admitted somewhere, hopefully.
Hang tight yes there is a waiting list but they will get you in there. If your really going through some bad times. You can always go to the Maricopa County Hospital tell them you feel like hurting yourself or someone and. They will hold you over till saint lukes can get you. I dont recommend going the county hospital route unless your REAAAALLLYY. Going through it. Just hang tough fhey will help you its worth a little wait
I'm the relative of a current inpatient. It's tough when someone is an adult & refuses help. But there are circumstances where a person can be hospitalized against their decision to be, for their own safety. If the paranoia & drugs are putting your relative in immediate danger, you can call a non-suicide crisis line & find out if they can get the ball rolling in getting your relative the help they need. If it's not an emergency, the only thing you may be able to do (painfully) is stay back, be there to support & comfort (but not lecture -- that might make you look like "the enemy"), & wait until it becomes an emergency, & then have those crisis lines in your contact list (I have 5 diff #'s!). All the very best of luck for you & your family, truly. It's so, so hard, & you're being very brave.
Call the front desk to reach a patient.
We don't use the code we were given. We only use the # on the back of our name badge. And it is 4
The only way to make phone calls or to visit during visiting hours is if you have that number.
This is now strictly a behavior hospital all other functions shut down late November
Yes
Sure you can.
Copper Springs in Avondale can address Co-Occuring Disorders. They offer inpatient and outpatient services.
It always depends, but if someone is admitted inpatient, the average stay is about 2 weeks. This is across the board, regardless of facility. An admission would definitely not be less than 3-4 days.
I cant guarantee you that you will get a call baxk today. However you might so dont give up. In fact keep calling every few hours, as the beds become available all the time. Try to remember they help 1000's of people and do there best to accommodate each person individually. Be patient your daughter will get the help she needs. Good luck to you and your faimly

Yes, there is one wing dedicated to children. I am not sure what the cutoff is on the younger end though.
