Great updated playground with completely functional equipment. No broken toys. They even had two trashmen come by while we were there. The seating for adults is well positioned although could be a bit shadier in parts but not really an issue. It was fine in shorts when it was 93. The kids loved all the opportunities to climb. 9, 5 and 2.5 all had plenty to do for two hours and were sufficiently worn out when we got home. We especially loved the instruments there and I was appreciative of the non-offensive sounds that they make. A+ experience.

Approximately 1 mile, with 1/4 of it being gravel. In the next year or so it should be paved
The open fields are open sun up to sun down. The designated field that is fenced in is only available through approved events made by Clayton Parks and Rec.
I'm afraid there's no basketball court. I believe the main city park has basketball courts
