Enjoyed a wonderful Mother’s Day celebration at Fuzzy Faces Refuge. The staff and volunteers were gracious, educational and fun! I thought to myself “we need more places like this everywhere”. Visit to help support a local non-profit, visit to enjoy time away from electronics, visit cause you will love it.

My daughter has been apart of their Freedom Steps program for a few months now, and she LOVES it. She struggles with sensory processing disorder, and it has made huge a difference in her confidence in a short amount of time. Jennie is a PATH certified instructor and she is amazing with kids and adults! I also go here in partnership with my therapists office (animal assisted therapy of the triangle). I have been doing liberty ground work as part of my trauma therapy sessions along side my therapist and Jennie! It has been one of the most eye opening and helpful therapeutic experiences for me! Thank you FFR ☺️

A place of healing for the community. FFR offers PATH Int'l Therapeutic equine programs for those with special needs, including the PATH Horses for Heroes program for Veterans and First Responders.

Questions & Answers

Do they help cats also?

We aren't a dog and cat rescue but we have provided a home for several feral cats and we have helped find homes for unwanted kittens in the past. The best resources for cat rescue are Alley Cats and Angels, Safe Haven for Cats, Meow House Cat Rescue, Purr Partners, Cat Angels, Second Chance Pet Adoptions, just to name a few...

Can you offer any advice for 5 month old stray kittens? Having spayed/ neutered/ shots. / tested. Trying to keep four in small town home but complete madness with two existing 8 year old cats?? Any fosters or rescues. Trying to socialize.

Please see list of cat rescues in previous post. Also, if you can be the foster, the rescues listed will most likely help you get those kittens adopted out to wonderful homes. Kittens usually move pretty quickly once people who want one know that they are available. Most rescues are so full that it's difficult for them to help but if you are willing to be the foster that usually changes things.

Do you need volunteer assistance? I would love to help with your animal/farm chores.

There is a volunteer form on the website. If you fill it out, someone will contact you.
