We have been here for almost 2 years and our first year was wonderful. We came because in addition to bills included, the complex had almost 5 stars. Now we have many complaints about water and drainage because almost every day they cut off our water and very often there are problems with the drainage. .. also the laundromats on site only work like 2 out of 6 and they never fix them ..

My family and I have lived here for a year. We just moved to a bigger apartment without much issues or complaints. Initially ran into some technical issues but Edith, the apartment manager, bent over backwards to help make the transition successful. So thank you! As far as the community itself. Its mostly quiet. There's your occasional tire peel out or loud music. But by large people seem to be respectful and it doesn't go on all night. I haven't seen any fights or heard any arguing. (And haven't heard any gun shots) The only problem we've ran into is someone tried to steal my wife's catalytic converter. We have RING camera's on the door but it didn't pick up where she was parked so we bought a camera specifically for the parking lot just in case it should happen again. So far, nothing. (Thank you Jesus!) So if you're asking me would I recommend Parkwood apartments? And it is! My family and I have lived here for a year. Lived here for almost 3 years with no issues whatsoever. The staff and management are friendly and the apartment complex vibe itself was very calm. Any issues with the apartment were resolved in a timely manner. I would recommend to anybody looking to rent at a reasonable price.

Decent place to live on a budget. Horrible parking, cars constantly burning out, tons of work trucks (a car got stolen and still no cameras) Put in my 30 day notice, but when I tried to make my online payment it said I didn’t owe a balance because I’d been paying an extra 100 a month for a few months so it calculated the total and deducted it from my last month prorated rent. When I called to find out what’s going on the following business day Edith said I should’ve figured it out online because rent is never free, I got charged idk how much extra plus a 100 late fee plus they even charged me for the month I’m not even living there! I told her I’ve never made a single late payment in the entire year and a half and asked if there was anything she could do. She said “Nope you should’ve paid your rent”. I had 3 neighbors come and go and they all told me they had issues with the manager. If you’re looking for an apartment I’d say pay extra for better management The maintenance crew was the only good thing about this place. Amazing people who always responded fast. Super friendly and helpful.

I think this is one of the most family oriented family communities complete with all races but predominantly Hispanic/Mexican/Spanish community. They work hard and know their neighbors and watch for others children's, pets, and vehicles because, as hard working as we all already are, we know the true meaning of earning every buck, and caring the upmost for our community. Truly have never felt safer than here.
