Thank God for the Eliza Shirley House. I was at a very bad time in my life and I was pregnant with my first child back in 2008 and I applied to get shelter and was taken in quickly. Everyone from intake to the other ppl staying at the shelter were so nice. I laid my head there every nite and took a shower and ate. If this place didn’t exist I don’t know what would have happened. Today I am in such a better place in my life and Eliza Shirleys was part of the reason I was able to get my life back together. Thank you so much.

Is for families. You have to have children
Only adult women with children. I din know the age limit, but you can call osh on cherry Street
There are not currently accepting donations of clothes, but there is a Goodwill down the street!
This is a shelter for families with children only. The intake center for families and single women is OHS Apple Tree Intake at 1430 Cherry Street.
