Hehe
The room was dirty and outdated. It smelled like a stale beer burp. The curtains are disgusting. Our shower hot and cold were switched. There were stains on the bed. The balcony door was janky and you can lock yourself outside if your not careful. The towels were stained and small. I would not come back.

This place was referred to me by a friend. Our reservation was extremely expensive, so my expectations were high. I felt that we were overcharged for what we got. The only nice thing was the ocean front. Everything else was so disappointing. The only person that welcomed us and was available to help us with whatever we needed was your housekeeper Joe. The reception area is not customer friendly. They need to be trained in customer relations. The room 604 was dirty in corners and the floor was not cleaned. I called to the receptionist and mention that the edge of the blanket had blood on it that apparently went through. I was told that they didn’t have anyone who can help us. We asked for sheets and that we will change it ourselves. The floor still had dry blood stains on it. It wasn’t safe for my grandchildren to be on this dirty floor. I read that there was carpeted rooms and tile rooms for pet friendly guest. In seeing how dirty the floor was I requested to change into a carpet room and the receptionist said she didn’t know what room was carpet or not. I told her that we needed a child safe room for our 11 month grandson. I ask for the manager and she just responded that she was and the receptionist. She never showed any expressions that showed concern or a call back. The ice machine was broken which I had to go to another floor. The elevator was awfully slow. The pool area is ignored throughout the day. My family’s last day in the pool was interrupted with teenagers using foul language in front of my 11 month and 4 year old grandchildren. The parking is horrible also. If you move from your spot you have to park on another area that is an inconvenience to the guest. With this being said the price on this stay was extremely high. In leaving a day earlier no one even showed concern .

Hotel is outdated and overly priced. Majority of the staff is young and very unprofessional. I’m handicap and someone was parked in the handicap spot with no placard or plate so I mentioned it to the staff and the two girls at the front desk just looked at each other and laughed and the car was still parked there for the rest of the time. There were a few members of the staff who were very nice but I didn’t like how they treated their job like a hangout smoking weed outback of the property during their shifts. The room wasn’t that clean we found a dirty pair of boxers behind the one dresser while we were looking for an outlet. The sliding door to balcony was broke and didn’t lock, very unsafe. I’m 8 months pregnant and went to sit on a chair on the balcony and it was broke the whole leg was cracked and I almost fell. Overall place was a bit ghetto we winded up leaving a day early not even concerned about a refund we just wanted to get out of that hotel.

I have to say that I have been a regular repeat guest of Paradise Plaza over the years but was very disappointed in my last stay. I spent over $500 for my room because it was over the weekend and peak season, and that would have been fine except when we returned to our room the first evening, it had not been touched or cleaned at all. When I called down to the front desk, they explained that because of COVID, they only cleaned rooms that had the tag on the door asking for maid service. That was fine, so the next night we left the tag on the door and once again returned to the room and nothing had been taking care of. It spoiled our whole experience. When I vacation to get away from it all and pay this kind of money, I expect to feel pampered and at minimum have my rooms cleaned and fresh when I return to it. We had to go down to pick up our towels from the front desk. Towels when brought to the room were not the amount asked for. When asked what happened, they said we had to wait for the next morning to talk to the manager. When I spoke to the manager, they said their COVID policy was actually no room cleaning at all, we had to leave dirty towels outside the room. We were told their website stated this. On checking their website after getting home, I did not see this stated. When I told them we were given incorrect information the first night when we called down, they said they would call and see what they could do. Obviously I was never called. Very very disappointed.
