Don't underestimate this "small" mountain in the middle of the city! This hike is on the above average difficulty level. #BRINGWATER

Parking is limited but the hiking is fantastic. It’s more of a workout than a hike. Highly recommend you bring plenty of water.

For me it is tougher going down being a tall guy but great hike.

Camalback Hike is not for the faint of heart (or those who have issues with heights), but if you make it to the top the view is worth the effort. Bring lots of water.

No permits needed. Parking is free but lot it isn’t very large and fills up quickly. On weekends this time of year it’s usually full by 6AM
After the guard gate, the parking on the hill on the way in is considered the lower parking... Either way parking is a joke, there just really is no good time to park, unless you get there 2 or 3 hours before it opens..
To my knowledge they close Cholla the east side trail but echo is still open
Yes the open early !
No. Most of the time it's too crowded, and too difficult for most dogs.
It is posted that it is a no drone zone at both camelback mountain trailheads.
