I worked here for about a 9 months between 2020 and 2021, it is a beautiful place for photos as well. I never went to the recreation area, but I had seen plenty of people heading in there regularly so it must be a pretty cool little gem. On top of an old friend of mine who would fish there every couple of weekends or so, and no he didn't report catching any three eyed fish. Cool to check out in person.

In the mid 70s we went to the lake to swim and hang out. Great memories. The lake had a beach and full recreational activities. It looked a lot bigger from the eyes of a 11 year old :). Its a shame it was decommissioned. Nuclear power is becoming popular again. Wonder how much it cost to build and tare down?
