First I would like to state that the medical staff is very kind and knowledgeable and any interaction I have had with medical staff has been great. However, I do have issues with communication from their admin team. I came in for my appointment, arrived 15 mins early and checked in. 40 mins after my scheduled appointment time I am called back and told they cannot do my blood work as they don’t accept my insurance. I have been coming to this location for months and my insurance hasn’t changed. I confirmed by appointment the day prior and They must have known prior to my appointment and it would have been much appreciated had I been informed prior to sitting in the lobby for 40 mins.

I had an appointment on Feburary 22. The doctor I saw Maria Magtoto was impatient with me and cut me off when I was trying to explain a of my ailments to her. She was on video and not even personally there. Then afterwards I was given a referral to an audiologist doctor. I contacted the audiologist doctor and they told the wrong referral was sent. I contacted wellcare afterwards and was placed on hold then disconnected. I called them back and explained what happened and was told to call the audiologist and make an appointment. I did. I was told once again that the wrong referral was sent that the refferal had to go to the primary provider not the audioligist. I called wellcare again. Once again I was put on hold and then disconnected. I called again was direction to a message call service. The receptionist at the audiologist now tried to contact them to put a stop to this and the same thing happened to her too. This repeated a couple more times. I fina!lly got fed up and decided to get another doctor. Now I have to start the whole process over with a new doctor. Total waste of my time, this place is a disgrace! I have registered a formal complaint with my insurance company about Wellcare Medical . Wellcare Behavioral and Medical Clinic needs to be shut down for good.
