This was my first visit to Tesoros Cafe and I will definitely return. The restaurant has a cozy and comfortable feel and even though it was busy when we arrived, the owner Gloria made sure that we were all well served. I had the Pernil & Mushroom Crepe and it was nothing short of DELICIOUS!

I went there for breakfast with my Fiance. The wait staff was nice, albeit we waited about 5-10 minutes just to get our menus. Once we finally put our order in, we had to wait another 30 minutes to get two eggs benedicts. The food was lukewarm and bland and the place wasn't even full. They could've been lacking wait staff and kitchen personnel, but we didn't have a good experience regardless. Gave it 2 stars because the home fries were good and the place was nice.

I really wanted to like this place, but today Sunday brunch was a big disappointment. I took an out-of-town guest there, which made the experience worse because I was embarrassed. Specifically, all the food on the buffet was either lukewarm or cold. The bacon tray and French toast were empty, and most of the others were almost empty. The cool temperature of the buffet food would alarm the health inspectors, of which I have one in the family. Cold rice, cold beans, cold plaintains, cold sausage. Seriously. The server didn’t explain that we were to help ourselves to coffee, telling us she’d come to our table to get our drink order. When I did make it to the coffee, I had to scrounge for a clean cup (several dirty ones were on the same counter). I took the last drop of the milk for coffee. I don’t live in the area, but often visit and like to go to restaurants, so I hope this place whips itself into shape for my future visits.

All the food was fresh, delicious, and nicely presented. It does take a while, as each dish was individually prepared. I had the salmon and cream cheese crepe, and my wife had the caprese crepe. I also had a cup of the gazpacho. Everything was top notch. The staff was friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back!
