It was fine. Stayed 1 night for a work trip. Pros: heater in room works nicely to add heat or cool down room Overall room was clean and was spacious TV had many cable channels to choose from. Breakfast- slightly better than expected. Juices, cereals, milk, oatmeal (didn’t taste good ), small pastries, waffles CONS - the stench is real! I wanted to believe people were being overly dramatic about it, but it’s truly blech. My non smoking room was bad enough but the hallway was truly gross. I actually went out to the nearby Walmart to buy air freshener! Elevator is gross. Noise travels easily from room to room. I could hear phone conversations above me and kids stomping around. Luckily they quieted down, otherwise I was going to have to ask to be moved.

This was the most unprofessional hotel I have ever stayed at!!! When I first checked in I was placed in a handicap room with no AC. It literally felt like a sauna when I walked in. After asking why the AC wasn't working, I was informed that they knew of the problem and it couldn't get worked on until Monday. I politely asked for a room change and was told they were sold out, and the best they could do was give me a portable AC unit. I reluctantly agreed. However after I returned to my room after about five hours, the room was more hot than before. The AC unit blew out the hot air from the back of it... After complaining for the second time, they magically gave me another room. To top it all off, long after I checked out they were charging me for an additional two weeks like I was still there. I am honestly ashamed of how unprofessional the workers here are. Don't waste your time or money with this place.

Never stay here. They took my credit card and charged me $1390 when I had stayed on point (stayed only 3 nights). The day they charged me, I was not even at the hotel. It was like 15 days after. They turned around when I called them up to have them refund the charge, they said no and that I should call my credit card company to file a complaint. The front desk manager was rude as can be... stating that they did not charge me... the interesting thing is that on my cedit card statement is says " Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott"... stay far away from this hotel... I am a titanium customer but was treated like trash.

Overall a nice experience. What is evident is the team overall approach to consistent customer service is not uniform. Everyone is not clicking to the beat. My experience was 3.5 not over the top great and definitely not bad. There was one woman who checked me out she was extremely pleasurable to interact with. You can tell she wanted to be there and she understands the value of excellent service. For her genuine care and attention I gave a score of 5.0. The room was a bit disappointing for a suite. The bathroom had stains in the walls and on the shower floor. I missed the days when the Marriott hotel experience was one to look forward to. Nowadays it’s a hit or miss with the quality of the rooms. Thanks again for meeting my need of an unplanned stay. The view was awesome. The bed was comfortable and well made.

If I had to guess I would attribute it to poor management and because they are franchised I would also guess the franchise owner just doesn't have control over it's hotels. Call the corporate office and express your concerns.

Fairfield Inn is very nice. The staff, especially Edwin, is wonderful. The House Keeping staff are so kind and they never make you feel like a burden when tou ask for something. Ive stayed there several times whenever Im up from AC and its like my 2nd home. Free breakfast of eggs, waffles, oatmeal, cereal, fruit and yogurt plus COFFEE INFINITUM! Yeah...theyre that good.
