I gave this company so many chances to get it right. I had a condo listed with them for a year and it was nothing but problem after problem. I went through 3 different property managers, each getting fired for being terrible at their jobs. It was a nightmare from the beginning. I took all the listing pictures, wrote the description for my listing myself, only to find out the property manager that said it was listed at hundreds of sites only had it listed on two. Once tenants finally got signed up I had problems setting up their utilities (see how I keep using I), they never switched over because Keyrenter told them the wrong utility company, even though I had given them the correct information several times. My ACH deposits were messed up for months. Communication was nonexistent and was always initiated by me. The final straw was my unit being vacant for a month. The last property manager tells me my unit should be rented for almost $400 over comps. When I tell him that is way too high, he lists it anyway at the price I told him not to. The two things that needed to be fixed after the tenants moved out I took care of, because the property manager said he had to charge me just to get a plumbing bid. I got a plumber out there with no bid charge and it was $150 fix. It has brand new paint, carpet, fridge, light fixture- it shows like a dream, and what is the excuse for it being vacant, "we fired the property manager in charge of your property and it hasn't had the attention it should have." Let me save you time and money by not listing your investment with this company. I don't know if these reviews are planted or how they got so high, but there are better options out there to manage your property. STEER CLEAR!

We hired Keyrenter so they could MANAGE our property here in Utah, we live in California. In the four years they “worked” for us…WE were the ones that ended up managing the property. We constantly had to point out issues at our property to them when we visited here! The house numbers were missing, blinds were damaged, screen doors and window screens were off and yet they still were never proactive at dealing with those issues and many others. We had a toilet that was leaking but they never reported the water damage on the floor. We had to replace and repair the ceiling in two different places because of neglect… things they should have found. They were supposed to do regular inspections but kept missing major issues! When we got the property back they told us it was great and ready to rent except for a few things. We discovered that 2 toilets didn’t work, 2 shower heads were broken, no water to one shower, I could go on and on. If they would have taken responsibility for their negligence along the way, this would be a different story. But they wouldn’t and didn’t until we met to fire them. And btw… don’t count on them to clean… the company that does cleaning for them— AC Cleaners— charged us $650 and the place was still a mess! (according to the manager from Keyrenter) All I can say is— Good luck if you hire them unless they make some major changes. AUG 2022 Just as a follow up— I really don’t want anyone else to deal with the issues we are STILL dealing with because of Keyrenter’s negligence. The property manager is the one who advertises your property and also places tenants. It is the property manager who is responsible to do background checks, check references and financials etc. We didn’t even know the name of the tenants until they had been there for a couple years! But that didn’t stop Keyrenter from blaming us for the damage the tenants did instead of taking responsibility for their negligence! Keyrenter’s response to my review— “However, it is important to remember most of these items were caused by lower quality tenants that you approved and stemmed back to them.” Seriously AJ?!? Keyrenter approved and placed the tenants NOT us. And then Keyrenter did NOT do the checks they were supposed to do—and the tenants trashed the place! We are STILL dealing with MAJOR issues at our property. Keyrenter calling the tenants THEY placed “lower quality” is just outrageous. Keyrenter—If you had done your job and kept up on the inspections—followed through with issues, repairs, damages, late rent etc… none of us would be in this mess.
